A Henry Stewart Masterclass

Self-Invested Pensions Masterclass

Despite the changes as a result of pensions simplification the world of self-invested pensions remains a highly technical area. The new tax legislation and regulations coupled with the DWP white paper and the introduction of FSA regulation of SIPPs in 2007 mean that there is still a lot of detail to be studied and assimilated. The impact of the legislative changes for SSASs is also significant.

With representatives from both the FSA (speaking on its new conduct of business rules for SIPPs) and the HMRC (giving their perspective on experiences in the first six months following A-day) together with experts from many of the industry's leading players, this event offers an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge in this rapidly changing market.

Designed for those who want a more detailed commentary from experts in their field this Masterclass will look in depth at issues such as:
• An HMRC perspective on the first six months post A-day
• The impact of the Finance Act 2006 on SIPP/SSAS investments
• The introduction of REITs
• IHT and pensions
• Benefit Crystallisation Events and the potential tax implications
• The detailed FSA proposals on SIPP regulation
• The tax treatment of employer contributions

Along with a number of other topical issues.

Full documentation will be provided to all delegates and adequate time set aside for questions and discussion.
